First Terrain Video

Below is the first video of the open world system in action. There are still a few bugs to fix, such as tree alignment with ground, LOD cracking, and the occasional skip. But overall it’s coming together quite nicely.

    That is very impressive. Look so fluid too! Great job!!

    What happen at :33 – :34? This square doesn’t fit with all his surrounding…Is it a special area, like a coven?

    You have sharp eyes, that’s a location area. The ground tiles are being loaded along with the terrain, but I have buildings turned off to keep the performance up at such high speeds. I’ll drop a demo soon with everything in place once I fix a few things.
